| THE UNXPECTED |
| EXCERPT 1 |
After an entirely too short afternoon lunch, followed by three weeks of telephone conversations due to conflicting schedules, Crystal and Marcus had finally cleared an entire evening that was long overdue. Crystal sat in the passenger seat beside Marcus smiling, amused by the light skinned female who openly eyed him while crossing in front of his freshly washed gray pearl Avalon Phantom XLS. Marcus sat unmoved by her futile attempts to catch his attention with a seductive strut and probing eyes. His focus was on the red light keeping him from getting to Crystal’s apartment, trying to cut the remaining travel time in half. He needed to continue what they’ d started in the restaurant’s parking garage. Crystal reaffirmed his thoughts with a gentle hand on his thigh as she extended her long legs and studied the female, dismissing any notion of interest. The girl’s large behind was packed tightly into a pair of jeans, her stomach jutting out over the waistband, and her hot pink stiletto heels fell two shades darker than the belt and pocketbook intended to match. She shook her head and enjoyed the view of Marcus’ melted butterscotch complexion, strong jaw line, and large seductive eyes topped with thick, curly, eyelashes. They had enjoyed dinner at a subtle Mexican restaurant in the Village. Seized by the atmosphere, thought provoking conversation, and several drinks while seated across from this figure that she’d found so captivating, Crystal invited him back to her place. Her brown suede coat was now folded over his arm, which also held a bouquet of mixed roses, his other arm hooked around her waist, as they giggled at nothing in particular, and she fumbled with the keys to her apartment. He’d been unaffected by a glass of Southern Comfort but found no way to escape the intoxication of the woman standing before him. As she steadied herself in his arms, she felt the warm wetness of his tongue as he planted a kiss on the shoulder that had come from beneath her shawl. They stumbled through the door, laughter rising as they fell into each other’s arms. In her living room, amidst the glow of a half moon and street lamps that bounced around the room compliments of the mirror lined hallway, their lustful kisses revealed the hunger they each held. Marcus wasted only seconds in undressing Crystal, admiring her supple mocha skin from every angle. Before he could remove her skimpy underwear, she began to disrobe him. She hastily threw his tie and shirt on the sofa, beside his jacket. Her lips were immediately drawn to his tool as she pulled down his pants and boxers together. Marcus steadied himself against the wall and freed his lower extremities, careful not to disrupt Crystal from the task that temporarily occupied her. He knew this was the start of more than just a good night. Crystal intrigued him. Although almost a decade younger than him, after their first conversation it was no longer her medium lips, glistening with honey brown lip gloss, calling to him. Her vivaciousness and her intelligence added to her beauty and held him captive. He didn’t remember having been this fascinated by another woman. From the first time their gazes locked he wanted more…more with her, more of her…just more. |
